Hey, I just released PissWorld publicly to get some early feedback. It’s a RimWorld-like solo colony / survival sim, made solo. I’ve been working on it in my free time for a bit over a year now, and it already offers hours of gameplay built around emergent mechanics and player learning. The game fully takes advantage of 3D compared to classic colony sims: the camera is completely free, you can jump into a GoPro-style view directly on a pawn, and the world is procedurally generated, making each run different. Right now it features custom (home-made) pathfinding, fully autonomous AI (needs, tasks, priorities, combat, survival), a task-based skill/level system (pawns level up by performing tasks), a weather & seasons system, save/load, living fauna & flora, quests, a research tree, and a bunch of achievements. It’s very much a die & retry game: you fail, learn how things work, and survive longer each run. Solo only for now. The name PissWorld reflects the direction I’m aiming for: a trashy, gritty, ironic universe. It’s not fully there yet, but that’s the vibe I’m building toward. Roadmap-wise: short term is fixing bugs and improving perf to really harden the base, mid term is adding more content, improving the UI, and building a deeper lore, and long term is stuff like co-op, multi-colony systems, and replacing a lot of placeholder assets with custom-made 3D models. This is a very long-term project, built step by step. Would really love feedback on anything — AI behavior, systems, perf, whatever
