While there are no new notable features in the game, I have been working here and there to adress some bugs and any errors that pop up.
This close to the deadline, I don't feel confident enough to add anything substantial to the game in fear of breaking everything and for the ship to go down in flames, but hopefully the game will offer a smoother experience after these post-launch patches.
I like these Goobers, so I've been working to make a new and improved version of them, which sadly won't be in this game before the deadline. However, new wisdom was obtained that allowed me to improve the goobers for Party Goobers!
- Animations and their transitions should no longer be as jarring, and the animation blending is now better implemented.
- Goober heads now more closely follow their body, especially if they're clapping their hands, walking and looking at the camera at the same time.
- Several updates have been made to address a few errors that popped up since launch. Most of them seem to be due to improper null checking in edge-cases.
I'm off to school in a few days, so this most likely concludes development on Party Goobers. It was a blast to work on, and a very enriching experience!
