Well the jam is over and I did just about how I expected to do and I'm fine with that! My goal for entering was to make a game and I think I achieved just that. Yet looking back at what I accomplished in that time I believe Free Delivery just barely fits into the definition of a game. The game loop is very loopy with little to no variety. Yet I still do feel proud of it for being just a weeks worth of work!
Will I be updating it more in the future? Hopefully! I'd love to expand upon it a lot more because I do believe that what's there is pretty good, the problem is just what's not there. This is also my first "finished" original game I've released (most of my other games have been clones) so from that context I do believe I did relatively well!
The most valuable result from entering the jam however are the lessons I learnt throughout development which I'd like to share in this post, even if some may be common knowledge to most.
