Can't grab things properly not sure what I'm interacting with half the time and when I do I get errors. I reckon it would be fun as anything but realistically needs some fixes before its there.
I don't usually play these types of games but I absolutely adore the presentation of this one. Although the voice acting can be amateur-ish at times, it never takes you out of the unique story you're immersed in.
This is a really fun horror game and cant wait for more acts! Trying to find the ghosts in the school area and leading them around was actually a lot of fun and I didn't find the controls to be to hard at all. I felt it gave a nice difficulty level. Definitely gave me a few good spooked moments! Great work!
Surprisingly well executed horror! Unfortunately I, like most of the reviewers, got hard stuck at the school area. Some combination of really finnicky controls and obtuse objectives. I saw the X's relating to ghosts but didn't want to memorize a maze layout, didn't understand that you could turn them into tripods, and got so frustrated at the movement and controls that I gave up after a few mins. Lots to like here though!
The Intro/Outro song is my favorite. There should be a downloadable version of it. <3 There were definitely some bugs, where the ghost on the tripod would vanish and end up teleported to a random place on the map, or vanish entirely, where you'd have to repeat the process to get a new one again and again, sometimes. But overall I loved it and would like more of it. <3
Hey folks I figured out the school area. Spoilers ahead if you wanna figure it out on your own... Find the ghost guy that is marked with an X on the map in the camera room. lead it to a room with a light switch, and turn off the light while both of you are in that room. This should turn the ghost into a puppet on a tripod. put it in the correct place in the frame, then rince and repeat.
school section doesn't make sense or control well. tried going to the ghost shown via the X on the map but that didn't seem any different than the others. if you are supposed to kite 4 of them behind the camera, it's too finicky and tricky to do.
The start area was quite well setup. I thought it would be a movie made in sandbox untill I could move my character. Well done! The first scare in the kitchen was pretty spooky. I had an issue however that I could not understand the school section. The controls were too clunky as well to be enjoyable once this section started. Character moved after letting go of move keys f.ex. Not sure if school section is finished, but if it is I believe it should be improved and made easier to understand. Reading in comments that others also struggled with this section.
I'm in love with the art direction and story so far, really reminding me of "my friendly neighborhood". I'm sure there's a lot of gameplay I didn't get to though because I can't get past the school section. The tank controls are really annoying and the objective is unclear. EDIT: would update my review but there is no save system and I can't skip the incredibly long intro that plays every time
Game is creepy as fuck (in a good way), the intro reminded me of Don't Hug me I'm Scared. Sadly, I couldn't figure out what to do and the movement is so slow and bouncy I'm walking like I've shit myself.
