While the first version of Estate Emperor lays a strong foundation, we are far from done! In the upcoming months, players can expect regular updates that will expand the game’s potential. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store:
The Speed Die - a common modern addition to the Monopoly Game. Don't want to spend hours on one round of Monopoly? The Speed Die will pick up the pace and gives you a run for your money.
Immersive Interaction - In an effort to reduce the amount of modals, which are right now required to interact with the game, we're building a system for seamless interaction between the cursor and the game board, without the need of Modal UIs.
Internationalization - Even though most of the s&box community right now is able to at least understand English, we want Estate Emperor to be approachable and accessible for everyone in the world. This means, not translating all the text in the game to as many languages as possible, is out of the question. Be sure to look out for future news to receive updates and volunteering opportunities regarding this topic.
A brand new look - Bored by the classic old Monopoly design? You have a specific Monopoly version you loved as a child? We’d love to hear all about it! Not only do we plan to redesign the current Scene with an immersive Environment and a fresh coat of Paint, but we also want to support different styles and maybe even custom community Scenes.
