We recently updated our game to work with the latest version of s&box. The first time we uploaded it, we were developing on the staging branch and didn’t check how it worked on the release branch. After a few days, we realized it wasn’t working properly on release.

To fix this, we removed features that used the new API and fixed some broken object order, then pushed an update.

Now, we’ve reintroduced those features again! 😊

We created a utility that unpacks cloud-based s&box assets, compresses them to lower resolutions, and re-uploads them as raw assets. Without losing any assets, we reduced the size from 3 GB to 1.4 GB.

Our goal is to make it easier for more people to play our game. Currently, we’re using over 200 assets from the asset store. In the future, we plan to publish a full asset list in a dedicated tab.

We also plan to share this utility with other s&box game developers.
