Thanks to everyone who played and reviewed the game during TechJam! I know that some people may not be satisfied with the resulting state of the game and this update is intended to fix some of those issues.
The context menu has been significantly redesigned. For TechJam, it had a very simple (and awkward to maintain) implementation. Now it has a proper look and feel, supports multi-select and has a more convenient control to change properties. Also, all elements have received new properties that can be customized.
One of the most important missing aspects was the lack of control - the built car did not move the way you wanted it to, the bomb did not explode at the right moment for you, etc., now it is implemented, and assignable keys to control these things added to the context menu. Only letter keys can be assigned for now, but this will likely be fixed in the future.
The control concept has also been expanded a bit in a different direction and a playable character has been added. He can walk, jump and die by shooting a fountain of blood around him. In future updates its functionality will be expanded and will allow attaching elements to limbs.
One of the important topics for future updates will be the ability to share your work with the community. A Browse section has been created for this purpose, but I'll need some time for proper implementation. In this update this section will only have our demo scenes for the moment.
