I usually give any obby a fair shot, but "S&box Obby" by DrakeFruit feels more like a test of patience than skill. From broken mechanics to uninspired design, it’s clear this was rushed out the door.
The obstacles themselves? Lazy and repetitive. You’ll find the same jumping challenge copied and pasted at least three times—did DrakeFruit run out of ideas, or just motivation? Speaking of jumping, the platform physics are all over the place. Random invisible walls and inconsistent collision boxes make this less about completing a challenge and more about hoping the game doesn’t glitch out.
Don’t even get me started on the checkpoint system. There are too few, placed in frustratingly arbitrary spots. Fall near the end? Back to square one. It feels less like a challenge and more like a punishment for daring to play.
DrakeFruit clearly needs to go back to the basics of game design. Until then, do yourself a favor and skip this one.
