For some reason I got an error and when I went to the lower catacombs, the loading screen basically remained there when it loaded so I had to Alt+F4 out of s&box completely in order to leave the game. I will keep an eye on this one because first-off, Diablo 1 is my all-time favorite game, and this game feels like, if you kept going with this, you could absolutely make something with those same vibes.
I'd like to recommend giving players a very faint glow that could be used to navigate areas in the absence of a torch or other lighting fixtures.
Also make it darker, maybe more mature too. I wanna feel like I'm venturing into some labyrinth of pure evil that man should never tread. By darker I mean in theme, not literally with less light. Talking maybe occasional corpses, dried blood here and there, some faint semblance of visual history to what I assume are randomly generated levels. Also idk how the game is performing with levels as large as they are, and I'm sure there will be larger ones later, but I'd really love larger rooms with different stuff in them like pillars, sarcophagi not against a wall and standing torches, maybe more barrels. Larger and more expansive levels would allow you to offer more enemy variety aswell like archers, maybe small flying enemies as well as much larger and formidable enemies too!
