Genuinely the only game on this platform that is actually worth playing, Theres so much potential for this game, I almost feel kind of bad that it is wasted on this platform. There is a lot of potential for this game, and I do hope the developer is well compensated for his work.
I really enjoy the Mordhau ish combat(I say this cause I think Mordhau's combat is abit more complex and abit harder in my opinion, I find the combat in this game to be far more forgiving despite its difficulty.), It has its moments of feeling alittle jank, especially when perrying and blocking at times. It takes some getting used to, Most of it is just reading the enemies attack patterns and you basically can kill anything, It does get alittle tricky against two enemies at once, but given enough time and mastering the blocking/perrying you can make pretty quick work of them.
I've put in about 2 or so hours and honestly, I could play this over and over for hours. The levels always change and with that sometimes creates slightly more or less challenging encounters, all depending on the random nature of the procedural level design.
Apart from some minor bugs, like some objects or physics props phasing through the world. which just seems to be more so a S&box/source 2 issue than the game itself. The features are really well implemented and well balanced, You get a sense of progress as you cleave through enemies and get stronger and clearing each stage, Although I wish there were more classes avaliable, like wizards or clerics. Something to shake up the melee only focus(I know there are bows, but they aren't as cinematic as casting a Fireball or lightbolt at a skeleton.)
All in all, for a S&box game, This is 10/10, one of, if not THE best S&box has to offer. The game has a nice artstyle, Its really well made, Its pretty replayable, though I hadn't beaten the boss level so not sure how far it goes after that.
With alittle more polish and content, This'll be an incredible game.
