Mashing right click is the only way to gain enough speed to outpace the avalanche - it seems to give way more speed than engaging with the drift state as designed, which doesn't give you enough to outrun. It really feels like just base movement plus grounded dash pads should be enough to outrun, and the rest should be for speedrunners competing for best times.

I'm unable to progress past 7s. There seems to be no way to escape the avalanche

A fun premise, but in need of additional work. Some notes: - Because the map is all the same color, it's difficult to sight-read the path. Changing the color of the path or adding a direction indicator would help. - The avalanche reduces visibility long before it kills you, making it hard to see where you're supposed to go even if danger is relatively far away. - The controls are unclear. - The loud fail effect is a funny bit, but it grates after multiple retries. The quality of the model, animations, and the illustrations are high even in this early state and they add charm to the game. Once I got used to the controls, the traversal was very fun. I'd like to play more once it's a bit farther along!
