This is a work in progress version of my vision of what a Riichi Mahjong game should be.

It's meant to be played with friends, so bring your friends. You need 4 players for a game.

There's a window that pops up which tells you everything you need to know, here it is repeated:

First, pick a seat by clicking a tile. Once all players have picked a seat, the game will automatically begin.
To play your turn, simply grab a tile from the wall and put it in your hand. Then, grab a tile from your hand and put it in the magnetic area in front of you on the table.
If you can use another player's tile to make a call, it will be highlighted. If you want to call it, simply grab it, bring it to your hand, select the call you would like to create, and press action.
If you can use another player's tile to win, it will be highlighted. Simply hold your mouse over it and press action.
If you draw your winning tile, press action to declare a win.
To declare riichi, press action while you are discarding a tile.
To create a closed or added kan, grab the tile in question and press action.
The game will end when a player is above 30,000 points after the South round.

There are some console commands which the host of the lobby can use if you need to:
  • redraw - Aborts the current hand and forces a redraw. If your game gets stuck because of a bug, this might recover it.
  • forceend - If you don't want to go all the way to end of the South round, this command will end the game at any time.
  • drawgraceperiod - Specifies the amount of time after a tile has been discarded until a new tile can be drawn. Default is 2 seconds.
