The new shotgunner tower has only a limited range so it is important to place it at turns or intersection, where the area can be maximized. On the other hand the Bounty hunter has a very high range but does not do that much damage for it’s cost. But the bounty hunter can have a 3.5x boss damage multiplier at the last level, which does heavy damage against bosses.
