- Added 4 LODs levels.
- Prop optimization using LODs :

The closer you are to the prop, the more faces/triangles it will have, providing better visual quality but using more of your system's resources.

Thanks to LODs, as you move further away from the prop, its quality will gradually decrease (fewer faces/triangles) to reduce the resource load on your system.


Number of faces/triangles based on LODs :

  • (Furthest) LOD 3 -> 1,104 faces/triangles
  • LOD 2 -> 5,522 faces/triangles
  • LOD 1 -> 11,045 faces/triangles
  • (Closest) LOD 0 -> 22,090 faces/triangles

Plus vous êtes proche du prop, plus il comportera de faces/triangles, offrant ainsi une meilleure qualité visuelle, mais consommant davantage de ressources sur votre machine.

Grâce aux LODs, lorsque vous vous éloignez du prop, celui-ci perdra progressivement en qualité (réduction du nombre de faces/triangles) afin de réduire les ressources nécessaires à votre machine.

Increase the distance at which low-polygon models are active, as the LOD transitions are highly noticeable

Following your message, I tested the car again on a map and I agree with you, extending the distance is a good idea !
