Very fun classic darkrp experience!

Solid recreation of Dark RP. Bit laggy on the performance side even in low playercounts but nothing that cant be fixed. Good Work!

At the moment of this review the gamemode is still in early development. The gamemode is fun and theres alot to do and alot of grinding if you are into it suchh as level, xp, skills and prestige system. Alot of the negative reveiws i see is about AI content and AI slop and yes the server did in the start have some placeholder AI photos which is slowly getting switched out as the Developer was focused on the gamemode and did not have and Art Creator.

Ignore the dumb bad reviews about AI, yes currently there is ai stuff. But only pictures and they are looking for an art creator since the devs are not Artist aswell. The devs are really active and there is a lot of different stuff to try.

I really appricate them working towards no AI art. This is a good call back to how old DarkRP was on Garry's Mod. Shows promise

When I had first started playing here, there was a lot that needed improvement. The devs have been doing a ton of work taking feedback, asking questions, chatting, seriosuly improving the experience for just about everyone since then. I like how interactive the development team has been with the people who are around the server. That effort has shown and major bug fixes, tweaks, and QoL improvements have been made. I am pretty addicted to some of the loops they have created here. Whether you're a sucker for that and other RP tropes is up to you. I fucking recommend it though.

OG Dark RP is a great S&box server with a really solid community. There’s no RDM, prop push, or toxic trash talk, which makes the experience much more enjoyable. The owner is actively developing the server and actually listens to player feedback. The staff team is also very helpful, especially when it comes to getting new players started. Definitely a server worth checking out!

Solo dev was very quick on responding to my review and implementing some fixes on performance. After his most recent update I've noticed a 100% increase in FPS moving from 15 to 30 which is a huge improvement considering s&boxes optimisaton. Dev is really quick on updates and genuinely reads feedback. I've tried out about 4 different darkrp modes on s&box as I'm a huge fan of OG darkrp and I msut say this one comes closest in terms of similarity to DARKRP, job diversity etc. Every DARKRP i've played so far as felt extremely underbaked but this one has huge potential, definitely excited to put more time in.

It's like the classic dark rp but remastered and with the best addons that we had in gmod over the years. I will play this for hours
