Important note: The latest update has fixed many of the major issues with the driving physics/model again. Cars no longer feel wildly unstable at high speeds, and the exaggerated acceleration/top speed behavior has been toned down significantly. The handling now feels much more predictable and enjoyable again overall. Wheel lock-up has also been added, which adds more realism, although it makes driving on keyboard noticeably more difficult than before. On controller it feels completely fine, but keyboard players will probably struggle more with braking consistency now.
Pros:
Fair amount of vehicles available for purchase
Handling tuning and color customization options available
Multiple maps, including touge roads and racing tracks
Daily missions, jobs, and progression systems
Frequent updates from a caring developer
Private lobbies are now possible, including setting player limits and custom lobby names
Leaderboards now show which car a player used for their run
Driving physics feel much better again compared to the previous update
Wheel lock-up system adds additional challenge and realism
Cons:
Controller trigger deadzones still need improvement. The stick deadzones feel good already, but trigger adjustment options are still lacking
Poor optimization and occasional random input issues, especially on keyboard. Sometimes steering, throttle, or braking briefly stop responding for no clear reason, which is extremely frustrating during precise driving or time attacks
Limited visual customization
Leaderboards still lack detailed tuning information. You still cannot see whether a player’s car is fully upgraded/max tuned or what suspension/caster settings they used
The checkpoint system needs a major overhaul. On some maps the checkpoint detection is too inconsistent, and slightly missing the circle can completely ruin an otherwise good run, which feels more frustrating than challenging
Leaderboards still are not separated by car category or individual vehicle models, so players are still heavily pushed toward using the strongest/meta cars to compete for top positions
Gacha/crate mechanics
Overall:
A fun and very promising driving game with a lot of content and clear developer passion behind it. The recent updates fixed many of the major problems with the driving physics, and the game feels far more enjoyable again overall. The addition of private lobbies, visible leaderboard car selections, and continued gameplay improvements show that the developer is actively listening to feedback. However, the game still has several frustrating issues that hold it back, especially the inconsistent checkpoint system, optimization/input problems, and the lack of detailed leaderboard categories and tuning information. Despite that, the game continues to improve and has a lot of long-term potential if the remaining issues get refined further.
