Hello ! New week, new updates on Monkey Fortress ⬇️
- Removed the jump penalty.
Player feedback showed it was frustrating (the more you jump, the slower you get), so I disabled it for now to see if gameplay feels better.
- Fixed the model loading cache on Dedicated Servers.
- Fixed the in-chat notification.
I tried a few things in OnLoad based on Lorenz's advice, but it didn’t work. I may rework this later, once we have two maps (or if it becomes too annoying).

- Implemented explosion logic for barrels.
They are currently a wood resource and can only be exploded with bullets (Fighting Round only).
Think of it as a free grenade.
- Improved destruction optimizations.
Smashes now look better and no longer cause big performance spikes.
Still dealing with an issue in the Tension system though 😅 more work coming.


Rough blockout of the left corridor building, offering better openness toward the middle of the map.  


 First iteration of a hair physics setup for the female character "kiki"
 Rework of the model and idle animation for the Constructron. More animations coming soon. WIP
