Titra is an experimental WIP project I've been working on for roughly 6 months on and off, it is not representative of what the final game may be.

It originally started off as a test for 2D capabilities of s&box and how far I could take it! It's very obviously inspired by Terraria and visually is very similar to it, but I plan to make it more more unique as time goes on. I just need to finish making a good framework for it before I completely try to find a good art style.

The main "gimmick" of Titra, to differentiate it from other games like it, is that there's multiple "slices" to a world. These are alternate layers of the same world that you can switch between. The idea is to make exploration a bit more interesting than the standard 2D sandbox block time.

I always thought this was a fun concept as a mod for Terraria itself but didn't see it as very feasible to actually implement there, so I did it here!

This is a very early test release, so it is still rough and unfinished. I just wanna see if people see it as interesting or not.

All you can basically do at the moment is create some worlds of varying size, break and place blocks, and play with the limited items I've added. Worlds save progress and there's auto save but don't count on these worlds being compatible between updates, stuff is very likely to break in future updates!

I'm absolutely going to try fleshing out every mechanic I can possible. NPCs, proper stat system,  progression, multiplayer and so on. There's a ton I need to work on, so I'll try to keep updates coming.

Thanks for checking out Titra! I know there really isn't much yet, but I'm excited to do more with it.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas. I’m especially interested in hearing what you'd want to see for actual content and gameplay, and maybe even a better style to aim for!
