Mashbox is a minigame + sandbox party game built around quick rounds, social chaos, and messing around between matches.
Jump between different game modes, hang out in the lobby, play with toys and props, build things, explore maps, and generally cause trouble with other players.
What to expect
- Rotating minigames with different rules and playstyles - Sandbox-style lobby interactions - Toys, props, weapons, and buildable objects - Multiplayer-focused party gameplay - Map rotation and varied environments - Plenty of room for stupid moments with friends
Early release
Mashbox was put together for Game Jam III with a very limited amount of development time and not much free time to work with, so some areas may be a little crude around the edges. This idea is originally going to be a server Idea, i still plan to shift it towards that later down the road.
That said, the goal was always to make something fun, playable, and worth putting out there rather than keeping it hidden away until everything was perfect.
If something feels rough, breaks, or gets a little chaotic, that is part of where the game is right now. Feedback is always welcome and helps shape where Mashbox goes next.
