Hello,

Long-term Garry's Mod Fan here, and hobby developer! I was interested in using the S&Box Developer mode to develop games/game modes! Used to make mods for Garry's Mod and other games, I've been excited and interested in this game for a while! When I tried to download the developer mode, it kept saying it was closed! Money is tight right now for me, and I can't afford S&Box, but I wanna continue developing in this game instead of Garry's Mod! So I was wondering if there was another way to get S&Box for free, or at least a way to download the developer mode for free, so I can create gamemodes and addons to help get rid of the AI content! You can download and compile the editor from the public github.

under the Engine/sandbox.engine/ application.cs file find
public static ulong AppId { get; internal set; } = 590830;
and set the number from 590830 to 480
and it'll run in offline mode do this before running the bootstrap.bat to compile it. I'm not sure if this is still allowed as it was a method to develop whilst the game wasnt on the store page.

You wont have access to online features like publishing games or cloud storage browser but you can still do everything else i believe. If this isnt allowed anymore lmk and i'll take it down
