I've been looking into different categories and trying different modes to get a feel for the culture and community before setting up shop.
I've noticed two recurring issues and I've been wondering if anyone else has been experiencing these two issues:
1.) The first time I connect to a server, performance feels extremely unstable for the first 1–2 minutes after spawning in. It almost feels like shaders are compiling in the background;
Frametimes start out very poor with noticeable stuttering, then progressively smooth out until the game reaches a stable FPS state. After that initial period, performance generally goes back to what would feel normal and stabilized.
(I mean in the physical player has spawned in state and can move around, not loading in the menu)

2.) During some first time load ins I'll occasionally see purple checkerboard textures appearing on certain assets. From my understanding, that usually indicates missing or failed textures/materials. I’m not sure whether this points to an issue with the mod download itself, incomplete files or etc.
Thoughts? Experiences?
