Welcome player one,I recently spent some time playing Pool in s&box and streamed the matches live on my Rumble gaming channel, Source World. I figured I'd share a few screenshots and the recorded stream here for anyone interested.
For those who haven't tried it yet, it's a straightforward take on the classic game of pool. You can play against other players, challenge friends, or even go up against a bot. The rules are easy to pick up, but as always with pool, actually making the shots is another story.
The game follows the familiar red vs yellow format. Once colours are decided, it's all about clearing your set before lining up the black ball for the win. Of course, things don't always go according to plan. A few missed shots, some unfortunate scratches, and suddenly you're handing the advantage to your opponent.
What I enjoyed most was how easy it was to jump into a match and start playing. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from shooters and larger multiplayer games and just play something simple and competitive.Minifly is a fast-paced arcade flying game where you're thrown into aerial battles against huge numbers of enemy aircraft. One moment you're chasing down slow-moving biplanes, and the next you're trying to survive against much faster fighter jets. The action rarely slows down, and there's always something happening on screen.
What I liked most was how easy it was to jump in and start playing. The controls are simple enough to learn quickly, but surviving long enough to put up a good score takes practice. It has that classic arcade feeling where you keep telling yourself "just one more run" after every game.
The game currently features:
Three game modes: Waves, Endless, and Sudden Death
Seven unlockable aircraft
Leaderboards for chasing high scores
Achievements to work toward
During my stream I spent most of my time trying to improve my score and unlock more aircraft. Every run felt a little different, and the increasing difficulty kept me coming back for another attempt.
For anyone browsing s&box looking for a quick arcade game that doesn't require a huge time commitment, this is definitely worth checking out.
Skill Issue, on s&box,You start by choosing a character and gradually build your loadout as you progress through increasingly difficult stages. Some runs felt incredibly powerful, while others ended much sooner than expected after taking a risky item or making a questionable upgrade choice.I also spent some time playing a roguelike survivor game during the stream. Out of the games I tried, this one was probably the most chaotic. Every run felt different thanks to the random loot, upgrades, and weapon combinations. What I enjoyed most was experimenting with different builds and seeing how quickly things could spiral out of control once the screen filled with enemies. It's one of those games where you tell yourself you'll do one more run, and suddenly an hour has passed.I've included some screenshots and gameplay from my live stream below. If anyone else has played it, I'd be interested to hear what builds or character combinations have worked best for you.
I also checked out AcroBox: FPV Drone Simulator, and this ended up being my favorite game from the stream.AcroBox is a physics-driven FPV drone simulator that focuses on the flying experience, and it shows. The drone feels responsive, and once I started getting used to the controls, it became hard to stop playing. Whether you're trying to fly smoothly through tight spaces or just exploring maps, it's a surprisingly satisfying experience. One of the coolest features is that you can fly on maps uploaded throughout the s&box ecosystem, which gives you plenty of places to practice and explore. The game also supports multiple control options, including controllers, FPV radios, and mouse and keyboard, although a controller is definitely the way to go if you have one available. At the moment the focus seems to be on freestyle flying, but there is also an experimental PvP mode where players can disrupt each other's drones with EMP attacks and other tools. Even without focusing on PvP, I found myself enjoying the simple act of flying around and improving my control of the drone.Out of all the games I played during this stream, AcroBox was the one that kept pulling me back in. The combination of physics-based flight, freedom to explore, and the challenge of mastering the controls made it the standout experience for me. I've included screenshots and my live gameplay recording below. If you've played AcroBox, I'd be interested to hear what control setup you're using and which maps you've enjoyed flying on the most. Thanks for reading and stopping by, more games will be played! Wishing best to all involved in making these games! Watch full live-recorded video of the gameplay here!
