Hi, I wanted to know why games with very low ratings, using stolen assets or made entirely with AI, can be ranked much higher than games with very good reviews and a good like/dislike ratio?
AFAIK Rankings usually take more into account than just likes/dislikes or reviews. Things like player activity, retention, playtime and engagement also matter a lot. As for stolen/AI assets, that's more of a moderation issue than a ranking one. If a game is breaking rules, it should be reported and reviewed separately
The game I’m talking about was released 3 days after mine and Garry tell me wait a little bit and your game will gain more people, but my game just go down and the game I’m talking about raise so much player I want to kill myself. I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't just make a crappy game to attract players instead of racking my brains over beautiful 3D models, etc.
