I think Sandbox should also start developing and publishing its own official in-house gamemodes instead of relying mainly on community-created content.
There are several benefits to having official Sandbox gamemodes:
- More Active Players: High-quality, regularly updated gamemodes would give players more reasons to play Sandbox consistently.
- Better Player Retention: Unique gamemodes with regular updates, events, and new features would keep players engaged for longer.
- Higher Quality Standards: Official gamemodes could offer better optimization, balancing, and overall gameplay quality.
- Stronger Community: Popular official gamemodes could bring the community together and encourage more interaction between players.
- More Opportunities for Content Creators: Streamers and YouTubers would have more consistent and exciting content to showcase, attracting new players.
- More Control and Innovation: The Sandbox team could experiment with new mechanics, introduce unique concepts, and respond directly to player feedback.
- Long-Term Growth: Having recognizable, official gamemodes could help Sandbox build a stronger identity and attract a larger player base over time.
Communitycreated gamemodes are still important, but official inhouse gamemodes could provide a strong foundation for the entire platform.
I believe investing in official gamemodes would be a great step toward making Sandbox more active, competitive, and successful in the long run
