I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried removing from my library and reacquiring. I'm just not getting an .exe file, so the game won't even start to run. Can't run something that doesn't exist.
I personally solved the problem by switching to a Proton Version using the "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". It will update the game, and put in the "windows version" in your files, .exe included. Makes the game proper run, but the editor has some extra malarkey I'm gonna figure out later.
