You've played games with stories. Games with mechanics. Games with progression systems, skill trees, and battle passes.
This is not one of those games.
The cube is just spinning. is a revolutionary new experience in which a cube — a three-dimensional geometric shape with six square faces — rotates continuously around a fixed axis. Forever. Or until you close the game.
Features
- ✅ One (1) cube — carefully hand-placed in the center of the scene
- ✅ Continuous rotation — the cube never stops spinning, not even once
- ✅ Real-time physics-free spinning — no gravity, no collisions, no problems
- ✅ 4K-ready — the cube looks the same at any resolution
- ✅ No microtransactions — the cube is free, and so is the spinning
- ✅ No DLC planned — we considered a second cube, but decided against it
- ✅ Accessibility — the cube spins the same for everyone, regardless of skill
- ✅ 60 FPS — or 144, or whatever your monitor does; the cube doesn't care
- ✅ Ray tracing support — the cube casts no shadows, but it looks nice anyway
Gameplay
The core gameplay loop consists of:
- Launching the game
- Observing the cube
- Noticing that it is, in fact, spinning
- Continuing to observe
That's the loop. It's a very tight loop.
Story
The cube has no backstory. It was not forged in the fires of Mount Doom. It has no chosen one, no prophecy, no tragic past. It is a cube. It spins.
Difficulty
Easy. There is nothing to fail at. Unless you count closing the window, in which case you've technically stopped the cube — but it will spin again the next time you open the game. The cube is patient. The cube is eternal.
