The Video Store
A Horror Anomaly-Finder Game
Step into your quiet late-night video store. Rows of movies await under the soft glow of fluorescent lights, the kind employee greets you as you step inside, and everything looks just as it should.
Or does it?
Your job is simple. You've been tasked by the higher ups to visit the various store locations. While they all look alike, some may hide a dark secret. Your task is to explore the stores and report back if there is anything out-of-place. Something horrible could be lurking in the restroom, or maybe the employee isn't acting quite as she should. It could even be something simple like the decor not being quite right.
Each round follows the same loop:

- Enter the store
- Look for any changes (aside from movie placement) that could be big or small. Be sure to investigate the entire store, as your Management will not be happy if you chicken out.
- Leave and report back your findings.
- Repeat until you've uncovered every hidden anomaly.
Some helpful tips:
- Anomalies will only be inside the store location, not the parking lot nor around the building.
- Be sure to explore the everywhere in the store. Some anomalies may not appear until you've ventured in fully.
- The movies on the shelves will not be anomalies or, if they are, they will be glaringly obvious and affect a large amount of them. We did not swap any single movies.
- There is no punishment for failure. If you label a location incorrectly, you'll just return to it again at some point.
Be thorough. Be sharp. And above all, be kind and rewind.
