- The NumberWang! studio is now officially a studio. There is an ON AIR lamp, audience lights, a channel plate, and a news crawl that has been told to stop talking but has chosen mathematics instead.
- A professional announcer has arrived to explain your waves, bosses, level-ups, rebirths, and your terrible financial decisions. If you cannot afford something, they will let you know with a very disappointed beep.
- Confetti cannons have been installed. Nobody knows who approved them. Everyone agrees they were necessary.
- Numbers are now displayed on proper mechanical number machines. Every digit rolls over one at a time because that is how the ancient number people intended.
- Ability draws now arrive as full mathematical contestants. Seats, spotlights, dramatic lighting, and a suspicious amount of importance included.
- Sentry Digit has entered the arena. Up to four tiny number assistants will now follow you around, firing at 60% speed and dealing 50% of your damage. They have been trained in the ancient art of pointing at things and making them smaller.
- Damage numbers have unlocked the HUGE category. When a hit doubles your previous record, it becomes too large to behave normally and begins dragging neon trails through the mathematics.
- The background is now filled with a tasteful amount of falling numbers. The void was looking suspiciously empty.
- The announcer now has a much larger collection of phrases. Wangernumb, board rotations, shinty-six, Colosson, and the legendary 1974 Mathematical Act can all now legally appear.
- Bullets no longer disappear into the mysterious bullet dimension. They now fly away dramatically after completing their mathematical duties.
- The camera now moves like a professional number filming machine. It drifts, zooms, and pulls back during rebirths because bigger numbers require bigger vision.
- AUTO BUY has arrived. It spends your entire bank account from cheapest to expensive because apparently numbers are better when purchased in bulk.
- Auto-buy filters have been added. Choose ANYTHING, DAMAGE, HEALTH, SPEED, or UTILITY and allow the mathematics to make a slightly more focused mistake.
- RESPEC has been invented. All board points are returned so you can undo your previous mathematical crimes.
- Payout Nodes have appeared. Gold and rare nodes now return points immediately after purchase because giving numbers away is how you make bigger numbers.
- The board now keeps records of your spending, your ownership, and how far into the mathematical wilderness you have travelled.
- Locked sections of the board are now visible. They sit behind mysterious static screens, waiting for you to become numerically worthy.
- The MORE tab now displays important statistics including your biggest hit, DPS, crit chance, and every ability card you have collected. The numbers have been interviewed.
- The main menu now features rotating NumberWang! headlines, plus your level, best wave, and rebirth count. Your achievements deserve unnecessary broadcasting.
- The sound toggle now remembers your choice. A rare example of a number learning something.
- The Powerup board has evolved from a pile of numbers into a branching mathematical ecosystem. Some paths lead somewhere. Some paths lead to disappointment.
- Nodes are smaller, connections are clearer, and the board now looks like a proper machine designed to create suspiciously large numbers.
- The board can now see further into the future. Three cells ahead are visible, allowing advanced planning and irresponsible optimism.
- Zooming out now reduces nodes to their purest form: the sacred icon.
- The board now centres itself around your actual achievements instead of pretending the origin point is the most important location in mathematics.
- CENTER has been upgraded from "throw player somewhere vaguely useful" to "place player near their numbers."
- Tabs now rise proudly when selected. The interface has discovered drama.
- The MORE tab now scrolls. Previously it attempted to contain infinite knowledge in one tiny box. The box lost.
- Ability names now come from larger number pools, meaning your collection can become much stranger before it starts repeating itself.
- Rebirth was accidentally giving you back your old board. The past has been deleted. The numbers have moved on.
- Large damage numbers no longer get chopped in half by the evil clipping rectangle.
- Ability choices can no longer be rerolled forever until the universe accidentally gives you something legendary.
- Enemies now understand they should enter from the proper side of the arena instead of appearing directly in front of your face like mathematical jump scares.
- Knockback no longer traps enemies in an endless backwards journey. They can now remember they are supposed to fight.
- Ranged enemies have remembered they are ranged enemies.
- The game no longer lets you attack enemies who have not officially arrived yet. Their paperwork must be completed first.
- Combat warnings, boss bars, death reports, and other important numbers no longer cover your other important numbers.
- Level-up sounds no longer celebrate twice. One celebration was mathematically excessive.
- Nothing has been removed. NumberWang! 0.2 believes every number deserves a chance.
- Auto Buy can only purchase numbers currently connected to your mathematical empire. It cannot yet purchase things from the forbidden number dimension.
- Existing saves may experience some board confusion after payout nodes were introduced. Your numbers may have changed their addresses.
- Extremely large boards may become too powerful to fit on screen. The camera is currently negotiating with mathematics.
- RESPEC is new and is still learning the ancient art of safely undoing your choices.
