Crowns, Plots and Dynamite
A changelist for S&World.
Crowns, Plots and Dynamite
1.0.5
19 August 2026
🎁
Added
Kings now make plans: war, peace, alliances, broken alliances, assassinations, arson, theft, plague, terror and rebellion
A plan ripens month by month on gold, skill, hunger and wounds, so a hungry village schemes slowly and a rich one strikes fast
A plotting king wears a crown above his head, coloured by what he is planning and brighter the closer it is
The crown blinks until you look at it, so a new plot never slips past you
The Plans window lists every scheme in the world: who is behind it, who it is aimed at, what will happen when it ripens and how long is left
Plans leak: an unhappy village talks, the target learns everything and relations collapse
A plot that needs a man sends one, and he walks there on foot, so you can watch him go and you can stop him
An agent can fail on arrival, and a caught agent turns a quiet plot into an open war
Dynamite: a charge sits for three seconds, then tears a crater in the ground, levels the buildings around it and leaves fire behind
Charges set off other charges nearby
Guards drop everything and run to smother a burning charge, and three seconds is just enough time to make it
The creature card is a window of its own: a portrait, a title, what the man has lived through, bars for health, food and mood, and his traits
Plans are written into the save and survive loading
🧼
Improved
A dead king is replaced the same instant: the throne goes by blood first, then by clan, then by standing
The heir carries on what his father began at half the progress instead of losing it
A kingdom now has exactly one king, where moving a capital used to leave the old one crowned for good
An empty throne is filled as soon as the capital has a hall
Time left on a plan is written in words rather than numbers: less than a year, about a year, several years
Escape closes whatever is open before it reaches the pause menu
Follow and Control close the creature card, because both are about watching the world rather than reading about it
Every window closes with a red cross of its own
Clicking a plan flies the camera to the plotter and leaves the window open
🪛
Fixed
Clicks on menus no longer pass through into the world, so a button press can no longer drop a meteor or pick whoever stood behind it
The pause menu no longer opens on top of a window that is already open
Two line entries in the chronicle and in the event feed no longer spill past their plate or lose their tail
The dot of an entry now sits in the middle of its plate whether the entry is one line or two
Text in the Plans window no longer runs together, and long names no longer push the date off the edge
The crown no longer shrinks to a dot when you zoom in
A plan no longer lost its owner right after a save was loaded
Plans no longer went missing when a save packed its people
