Monster Points
  • Monster Points - every monster you drop pays out when the run ends, win or lose. Bank them, come back stronger!

  • Gunslinger's Legacy - a permanent shop with 18 upgrades split into Arsenal, Survival and Fortune. No unlock order, no prerequisites, buy whatever you fancy first!

  • Arsenal - a harder hitting revolver, faster reloads, extra rounds in the cylinder and nastier escorts.

  • Survival - more health, thicker hide, better medkits, longer focus and a breather after every stage.

  • Fortune - more XP, luckier cards and chests, shorter cooldowns, and Bounty Hunter, which pays up to 3 points per monster!

Skills
  • Skill slots - four of them, on Q, W, E and R, and you can rebind every one.

  • Deadeye - free from the start. Time crawls and you snap one shot at every monster in sight, no ammo spent.

  • Thunder's Judgment - lightning wipes up to four monsters at once. 200 points.

  • Emergency Dressing - 30 health back on the spot. 120 points.

  • Iron Guard - shrug off most of the damage for five seconds. 160 points.

  • Powder Storm - three sticks of dynamite, thrown. 280 points.

  • Cylinder Frenzy - a full cylinder, then five seconds of free shooting! 180 points.

  • Skill tutorial - the first time you play, the game shows you where the skill button is.

Leaderboards
  • Six boards - one for every mode and difficulty, so Hardcore runs only race other Hardcore runs.

  • Endless counts - stages past Paradise keep pushing your best stage higher!

Also new
  • Replay route - lost a good one? Take the exact same road again, straight from the defeat screen.

Leaderboards
  • Stage, not score - the board shows the furthest stage you reached instead of points. Much clearer bragging rights!

Fights
  • Twice the monsters - regular fights bring double the crowd now, with the opening stages easing you in!

  • They come to you - monsters fly in a few at a time, from above, below and dead ahead, going around walls and platforms instead of bunching up in one spot.

  • Room to react - they close in and then hold their distance, so you can still see a shot coming and get out of the way.

  • Steady gun - the recoil no longer throws you into the sky. It still kicks and tumbles and you still have to wrestle the barrel back on target, but you stay put, so the arena around you finally counts for something.

  • Meaner realms - monsters get sturdier as you climb, from Hell through Purgatory and Eden all the way to Paradise.

Difficulty
  • Hardcore means it - miss a shot and the run is over, even with bullets to spare or Cylinder Frenzy running.

  • Endless keeps growing - bigger crowds, tougher monsters and faster attacks the deeper you push, and the extra bodies queue up instead of landing on your head all at once.

  • A harder road - the run asks more of you now, and the permanent upgrades are there to answer it.

Fixed

3 changes
  • Endless bosses - their eyes are tougher out there, and the stage clock now takes that into account.

  • Camera - it no longer swings at nothing when your last target dies mid swing.

  • Reinforcements - they always find a clear spot to fly in from, instead of turning up inside the scenery.

Removed

2 changes
  • Score leaderboard - retired, and the rankings were wiped clean for it. One time only, this once, so everyone starts level on the new stage boards!

  • Quick Draw - it grew up into Cylinder Frenzy. Already bought it? Still yours.
