A season with the Kirkhead Casuals.
It's match day in Kirkhead. The Blue Lion's filling up, the away lot are coming in on the train, and there's a district across town that isn't ours yet. Run with the firm for a whole league season: follow the club home and away, stand your ground on the streets, and make sure that by derby day every corner of the town knows whose it is.
The season
- 20 games, home and away. A full league table, the fixtures in the paper every morning, and the derby on the last day.
- Watch it your way. From your seat at Kirkhead Park, on the telly in the pub, or on your phone, with live commentary.
- Back your team. Bet on the title at the start of the season, on today's game, or on the horses at the bookies.
- Win the league and the night doesn't end at the final whistle.
The trophy's lifted on a stage on the pitch, the fans come over the wall, and an open-top bus takes it through the town to the Blue Lion for a lock-in. Climb aboard and lift it yourself.
The streets
- A new town every run. Every game builds a different Kirkhead: new streets, shops, pubs, rival firms and lads.
- Turf. Every district belongs to someone. Push the other firms out and hold the most by the derby.
- Fighting. Punches, kicks, heavy hits, grabs and headbutts, blocks and parries, dodges and lock-on. Anything lying about is fair game: bins, chairs, bottles, pint glasses, half-bricks.
- The polis. Get seen and your wanted level goes up. Lose them on foot or in a stolen motor, or spend the night in the cells. Drive like an idiot and you'll get pulled over for your licence.
- Getting about. Nick a car, hire one, or take the bus or the train.
The firm
- Recruit lads and tell them to follow you or wait at the pub. Start a chant and they'll answer; when it goes off, they'll pile in.
- Rank up with rep and pick perks. Build yourself up at the gym, the barber's and the tattoo parlour.
- Keep the firm going. Do the day's jobs, spray tags, do deliveries in a van, rob shops, force doors, play the puggy and trade shares on your phone.
- Your own flat. Get your head down in your own bed, watch the match from the sofa, and hire a car from the key bowl.
Co-op for up to 5
- Everyone's in the host's firm: one wallet, one rep, one turf map, one league.
- Everyone gets their own flat, their own hire car and their own wanted level.
- Ride in each other's cars, fight side by side and see each other on the map. The day ends when everybody's called it a night.
Runs and legend
A run is one season: hold the most turf by the derby to finish as top firm. Get lifted or battered once too often and it's over early. Every run earns legend points, which start the next one with more money and more lads. Want more? Endless mode starts a new 20-game season every 20 days in the same town.
