This is my first game meant to be a test / learning experience. If enough people ask I can build a clean video poker without all the extra nonsense.
THE CRIME LOUNGE
A speakeasy hidden behind a barber shop. Cracked leather booths, smoke curling around brass lamps, the sound of cards riffling and chips falling. Everyone here is on the take. So are you. The Crime Lounge is a single-player casino game built on a two-currency economy: Dirty Cash you earn through a sprawling bookmaker's idle clicker, and Clean Cash you risk at the tables. Both systems feed into each other. Both reward time, strategy, and nerve.
THE TABLES
Seven hand-tuned card games are open from day one — Blackjack, 8/5 Jacks or Better, 8/5 Bonus Poker, 9/6 Double Double Bonus, Full Pay Deuces Wild, Double Joker Poker, and the headlining VIP game Ultimate S(&box) — a multi-hand video poker variant where multipliers carry over between deals, stacking from 2x all the way to 10x. Play 1, 3, 5, or 10 hands at once and watch the math get violent.
THE SIDE HUSTLE
You start small. A street lookout on the corner, a runner taking bets, a chewed pencil scratching numbers in a notebook. Hire a crew. Buy out the neighborhood. Cook the books, bribe the auditors, launder through art and offshore accounts. Across fifteen tiers your operation grows from pocket change to a state-captured empire generating dirty cash by the quadrillion.
THE WASH
Dirty money won't buy you a seat at the tables. You launder it through The Wash — a manual conversion that gets harder the richer you get. The casino remains a real test of skill and luck because clean cash is hard to make and easy to lose.
THE BLACK MARKET
Spend your dirty money on rigged decks, marked cards, loaded dice, and visual cosmetics that turn the lounge from seedy to elegant. Some help you win. Some just make you look rich.
MOST WANTED
A global leaderboard tracks the top earners across every player worldwide. Only casino winnings count. Pure skill at the tables. Climb the ranks, your Steam profile pinned at the top for everyone to see.
No multiplayer lobbies. No microtransactions. No grind walls. Just you, the cards, and a back room full of bad decisions.
