Fate is our newest map that takes the paranoia of murder and plunges it into an oppressive, pitch-black woodland. Trading the typical well-lit rooms for a claustrophobic, towering forest, Fate turns the standard murder loop into a terrifying game of cat-and-mouse where the flashlight is your greatest tool, but also your biggest liability.
We have added a new shop exclusively for detectives. We will experiment with the upgrade choices a bit, but for now the following options are
  • Radar, just like Murderer
  • Gunslinger, 30% increased draw & reload speed
We are working on adding more tools to the detective

  • Detective Shop, the detective subrole can now access a shop just like Murderers
  • Elevation Evidence Hint, telling you if the Murderer is above/below/same level as you
  • Evidence UI element that shows you all evidence you've collected during the round at all times

  • Gun muzzle flash is much more noticeable now
  • Made the Gun 25% faster to draw

  • Tutorial Hint UI now requires input to dismiss, instead of just disappearing after 5s
🪛 Fixed
  • Fixed an issue where the Murderer silence upgrade would not work until you redeployed your knife
  • Fixed an issue where the Snitch's Evidence sharing would use the Snitch's perspective, which meant hints could be wrong, i.e "The Murderer is far away" from the perspective of the Snitch, but your local player could actually be next to the Murderer. Now each player independently evaluates the hint from their perspectives.
  • Fixed an issue where if the host left during the win screen it'd mess up the lobby for the next 2 minutes
  • Fixed a bunch of camera bugs when desync'd
