Gooniverse

A spacebuild fan favorite made by amirite in 2007, now rebuilt in S&box. The goals of the original map were great visuals and high performance, and I did my best to maintain both of those going into the new version. This map is built to be used with the upcoming Space Combat 3 game that will include Spacebuild 2 and 3 modes. It should work with any game, but it will run best with either Space Combat 3 or SandboxPlus.

Features

6 Planets
- Hiigara: An earth-like homeworld.
- Kobol: Also earth-like, with a climate that has recently reached a livable state after an ice age. Also has some fun floating ice pieces.
- Coruscant: a metropolis, abandoned for hundreds of years. This planet makes a very good strategic "capture" point in space wars, given its location and architecture.
- Demeter: a mild but toxic planet. Thousands of years of fumes and corrosion has almost split this planet into space dust.
- Cerebrus: Closest to the sun, this now-inactive planet has been dried of all its liquids to create a barren wasteland of sand and... sand. This is the harshest planet to live on.
- Endgame: A magma-covered ball of ash and rock, with a series of volcanic tubes leading into a large underground cavity.
A bunch of asteroids.
Space Combat 3 / Spacebuild 2 & 3 compatibility.
No map walls to ruin your day.

Thanks a ton to the original mapper amirite and the goons that he made this map for. Myself and many others have enjoyed this map for almost 20 years at the time of writing, and I hope S&box can provide another 20 on top of that.
