Halloween event, New ingredients and guests
Halloween Week (Oct 29 – Nov 5). The event switches on and off by date. Every server runs it at the same time.
Event line in the HUD: a pumpkin, "HALLOWEEN WEEK" and the days left. On the final day it switches to a countdown in hours and minutes.
New ingredients:
Cheese ($3, all stall tiers) and Fries ($3, Tier 2+) can replace vegetables in an order.
Falafel ($5, Tier 3) can replace the meat.
The Halloween Cauldron on every stall gives four seasonal ingredients for free: Pumpkin Sauce, Ectoplasm, Eyeballs and Bones. Each one still adds $3 to the sale price.
Event customers:
Jack-o'-lantern wants pumpkin sauce, Ghost wants ectoplasm, Skeleton wants bones and no meat, Vampire wants eyeballs.
They pay in pumpkins (Jack gives 5) and have their own name plates.
The Ghost's order icons fade in and out, and you can walk right through him.
Costumed customers: during the event, most regular customers wear 1–2 Halloween costume pieces.
First-order tips: the first time an order includes a new ingredient, a short line under it in the order panel tells you where to get it.
All new text is in all six languages (EN / DE / ES / FR / PL / RU).
The supplier and stock column now list exactly the ingredients your stall tiers can use.
"Buy your first upgrade" quest:
It lights up gold and flashes as soon as you can afford the cheapest upgrade: $60 instead of the old fixed $100.
The F (teleport) key flashes with it.
Pumpkins from a sale now land together with the "+$" money animation instead of before it.
The cauldron is always highlighted with its "E" prompt when the next step needs a seasonal ingredient, even with ingredient highlighting turned off.
Coins are now preserved in save files and are located in more accessible places.
NPCs have become hungrier; now they approach almost every stall.
Customers no longer walk through stalls; they go around them.
Taking pieces off the board (Q) now always removes the right model when two ingredients share a group, including after the host leaves.
