Alpha 0.2.12: environment, vendors and support-hand fixes

Updated trees and grass, rebuilt faction bases, redesigned vendor stalls, expanded High detail and improved support-hand reach.

The latest Crosswind Front game update is alpha 0.2.12, bringing the previously local environment, vendor, graphics and support-hand changes into the public playtest.

WHAT CHANGED
Crosswind Valley has updated trees, a new terrain grass material and streamed grass blades. The three faction headquarters now use the Military Post art, with equipment and vehicle vendor stalls at each base.

Equipment and vehicle catalogues have redesigned layouts, filters, loadout information and faction fleet details. Existing purchase prices, inventory limits and host-side validation remain in place.

High world detail now expands grass distance, scenery visibility and shadow rendering. New installations start at Balanced, and existing preferences are retained. Engine graphics quality and display settings remain available in s&box.

Three static civilian scenery cars are included. The support-hand solver now handles minimum and maximum reach, coincident targets and collinear bend directions more safely. The main menu displays the current 0.2.12 version instead of an outdated development label.

The build also includes the earlier inventory/looting redesign, smoother weapon panning, improved optic alignment and corrected Q/E leaning.

TRY THE UPDATE
Restart into the latest build, select Play, equip at the arms trader with F and open M to locate the industrial relay. Three factions contest the objective, with infantry combat, ground vehicles and helicopters. Playable in s&box: https://sbox.game/etm/crosswindfront/

This is still an early alpha. The release passed native compilation, 15 support-hand regression checks, 22 weapon smoke configurations and staged-file validation. Fresh downloaded-client gameplay, remote multiplayer, full 60-player sessions and stronger-machine Ultra performance still need testing. Some sounds remain temporary placeholders, with improved sounds planned.
