Fatal Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ / 0x26c2f80fff1 - 6435472368 : crashes/6e7a6213-fb05-4b6d-2a42-a912acdaa562

Maybe something to do with memory? I had a message about memory allocation right after it happened. EDIT: Verified cache and it updated 528bytes. Still persists. Happened right after I bought the safety goggles off the market. Cannot start the game or any project in the editor. Every validation fails and redownloads a file but it changes nothing. Complete reinstall did not fix the issue.

Got this issue when launching the game. Just opened a tab to let me know that it's crashed but the game still says its running on Steam. I try to find in task manager "s&box" but cant find anything (same if i looked for "source 2" or i even check "counter-strike 2" incase it was similar to how source 1 engine games would show as being half-life 2 but I couldn't find anything). I clicked stop through steam on s&box but its just infinitely closing. i have to restart my pc lol. this happened to me just before then i restarted my pc and tried again and i got the exact same issue.

Tried updating OBS and ensured that the overlay was disabled per the message about possible conflicting modules. Still no progress on being able to start the game. Even uninstalling OBS did not help.

Noway 6 people got almost 2000 crashes

yeah im not sure how it's tracking that, at max i've had this crash like 50 times. At least im not the only one who cant do anything, 6 of us are trapped in a purgatory of the game not being useable in any way at all. EDIT: Installed on another SSD and it randomly started working.

This is not really caused with the overlay, you just need to delete your cached folders in steam, 

Steam\steamapps\common\sbox\core\shadercache\vulkan\
Steam\steamapps\common\sbox\gamecache\
Steam\steamapps\common\sbox\.source2\cache\

resolved it with me.
