The issue happens when i click the play button on steam 

my game is keep on crashing when i press play button it needs a fix

graphics-hook64.dll OBS Overlay, older versions have been known to cause crashes

Updated my OBS, but it didn't help.

cannot load the game anymore because of this error. Reinstalled and it did nothing

I'll start with the story. I'm creating an RP mode, and after one of the checks on two clients, the game froze, so I decided to close it through the task manager, which was a fatal error. After that, I tried various ways to at least access the editor, checked the integrity of the files (and even four files failed the check), but nothing worked. Finally, when time was running out, I came up with an idea: go to Properties -> Game Versions and Betas and change the version from 04.03.2026 (at that time) to the beta version 09.03.2026 [staging]. After waiting for a couple hundred megabytes to install, I launched the game and saw the FacePunch logo. After that, I switched back to the old version and everything worked correctly.

Well, if anyone's too lazy to read this, just change the game version in the settings and enjoy. If anything happens after launching the new version, you can switch back to the old one, and everything will work.

Начну с истории. Создаю я РП режим, и после одной из проверок на двух клиентах у меня игра зависла, и я решил её закрыть через диспетчер задач, что было фатальной ошибкой. После этого я пытался разными спопобами зайти хотя-бы в редактор, проверял целосность файлов (и даже 4 файла не прошло проверку), но ничего не получалось. В конечном итоге, когда время уже поджимало, мне в голову пришла идея: зайти в свойства -> версии игры и бета-версии и поменять с версии 04.03.2026 (на тот момент) на бета версию 09.03.2026 [staging]. Подождав установки пары сотен мегабайт я запустил игру и увидел логотип facepunch. После этого я переключился на старую версию и всё работало коректно.

Что-ж, а если кому-то лень это читать то просто поменяйте в настройках версию игры и радуйтесь. Если что после запуска на новой версии вы можете перейти на старую, всё будет работать.
