S&box made my laptop die idk

I played s&box for like a minute then I closed it to do something but when I tried to open it back up it didn’t run so I tired to check the files of the game to see if there is anything missing or wrong but I couldn’t even open windows file and it would make the windows file application freeze so I restarted my laptop and now it’s stuck on a black screen and no matter what I do it will just stay on a black screen. So now I might have to get my laptop repaired unless I find a solution for it and I really don’t want to take my laptop to a repair shop so somebody for the love of god help me ):

 Yeah, the S&box menu makes PCs suffer a lot. Mine screams in the menu, but in a demanding game, it stays quiet

I honestly can't think of a way s&box would manage to brick your computer? Lol.
Something must've been seriously wrong with it in the first place for that to happen.
