I feel like the sausages (and, by extension, the humans) are just a tad limited in customization by default. I think some basic little things like the following would be nice:
  • Eye color customization.
  • Nose, eye, and ear shapes! Nothing fancy, just a few shape preset options like a pointier nose, or thinner/wider eyes. Not asking for sliders.
  • Additional eyebrows, hair options, etc.
  • More neutral and female coded options. Feel like it'd just be good to have more options than there are. Feels like a sausage fest atm (ha).
  • Adjusting shirts and such that you wear to not clip into other clothing items. The clipping issues with clothing are honestly pretty noticeable.
  • Few more complexion options.
  • A few extra styles of shirt, pants, and shoe. Like 1-2 blank colored tshirts, few extra pairs of pants that aren't torn up, few more pairs of shoes that are commonly worn, etc.
  • Free workshop section that creators can opt-in for? Idk, feels weird there isn't one. I'm sure some folks wouldn't mind just sharing some stuff for fun. I know this one is a pipe dream because money, but it'd be nice.
Nothing spectacularly crazy here I feel (outside of the workshop one). The shape options might be more difficult, but even just adding some more clothing, fixing up the stuff that is there (the clipping is so bad man), and making sure every category is reasonably filled out would be good (some are empty by default, boooo).

My reasoning for all this is that I thought the sausages were ugly and nasty AF when I first started playing, but after you dress them up a bit they actually grown on you a good bit because they don't look like a freaky human sausage hybrid monstrosity as much; instead, they look more like a cartoon character you made! I actually prefer them to the human models now personally because of this.

Minor tangent, but I will also say that the limited options in game really make the microtransactions stand out like a sore thumb. The weird rotating shop along with the "unowned" section in the customization menu really give a bad first impression, imo. Filling out the options a tad more will only help the game/platform feel more friendly and fun. Plus, if we can doll up the sausages a bit more it'll encourage more creators to actually use them!

TLDR: Gimme more stuff. There's not enough stuff. I'm not paying for the $99 cardboard hat, Garry.

EDIT: I didn't understand that the microtransactions fund the playfund and such. There needs to be an obvious message in game about where all the money from microtransactions go. That way they don't feel super scummy like they currently do upon first glance. I'm still not paying for the $99 carboard hat though lol.

The average player doesnt need to know implicitly that the proceeds go back into the community, they buy the cosmetic to get a return later via Steam Market. Also workshop cosmetics get chosen every month for people to purchase, similar to Rust.

EDIT: PLEASE garry skyrim character customization!

P.S. Its unrelated but thanks for your review on Bloodsigil, there will be a main server up soon. Main menu is currently a dogshit unfinished mess, but you will be able to join a server and it should be fine.
