🎣 LuckyHook – relax, fish, collect and open cases
Hey everyone!
I'm developing LuckyHook, a fishing game for s&box that blends chilled out fishing with CS2-inspired case opening and plenty of progression. I'd be thrilled if you gave it a look and told me how it plays.

The fishing itself is skill-based: set the hook, hold steady, reel in. Weather and time of day aren't just for show, they actually decide what bites. Some fish only show up at night, others only in a storm.

What else is waiting for you:
  1. Over 80+ fish species with a Fishdex that tracks your size and weight records. Perfect for anyone who loves to complete a collection.
  2. Two islands with exclusive catches: Stonereach Isle with a secret lake and 5 legendary fish, and Palm Beach with a growing roster of saltwater species,. On top of that, the open sea itself now holds almost 30 more species, from small Sardines up to Great White Sharks.
  3. Case opening with a roulette animation for rod and bobber skins, across 5 rarity tiers from Common to Legendary. Don't like what you got? The Loot Smith lets you trade up unwanted bobbers or rods for a random one a rarity higher, and the Rod Smith can reroll a rod's stats within its rarity, risking a Corrupted rod for a shot at an Enchanted one.
  4. Your own fish factory: process your catch at 5 station types (filleting, smoking, curing, drying, packaging), each upgradeable up to masterpiece quality, then sell to the export merchant for bonus gold. Byproducts like fish meal, oil and roe feed a Bait Workshop that presses your own bait, and hired Workers can run your stations for you so you don't have to babysit every pickup.
  5. Boats and hotspots: different boat types for trips to time-limited ocean hotspots with boosted chances.
  6. Tons of progression: auto rods for passive fishing(gold), bait boosters, the Rod Smith for crafting rare Mystic Rods, daily quests, NPC contracts (including the Harbourmaster's delivery board on both islands), a 30-day daily login streak with escalating Streak Cases, and a global leaderboard with per-species records.
  7. Multiplayer is fully live: trade fish and gold directly with other players, buy and sell rods and bobbers through the Market Broker even across sessions, or team up in a Crew for a shared leaderboard.
You manage everything through your Fisher Pad tablet: inventory, Fishdex, cases, weather forecast, factory overview, crew, workers and more, all in one place.

The game is still in active development, so expect bugs. That's exactly why I live off your feedback, whether it's bugs, balancing or ideas. Report anything you run into. Come by, catch a few fish and let me know what you think!

Looks awesome will try out, will you have skins enabled? it be cool if it were mutli player like how dxrp is with voice and text chat, also will there be any alcohol, tobacco or cannabis? also it be cool if you had a radio player similiar how they have on rust with real radio stations. maybe even a weapon to fight off crabs lol or different styles of boats in the future just some ideas

The open sea itself got a huge expansion too: almost 30 new saltwater species, from small Sardines up to Great White Sharks, Swordfish and the ultra-rare Ancient Coelacanth. River and Lake fish are properly habitat-locked again, so you'll need to actually go where a fish lives.

Fish Factory automation got a big upgrade. Filleting now sometimes drops byproducts (Fish Meal, Fish Oil, Roe), which feed a new Bait Workshop that presses your own bait. And you can now hire Workers to run your stations for you, either from the Station Dealer at first or, later, from a dedicated Workers app in the Tablet with 10 rolled candidates a day and a reroll option.

Multiplayer got more social: propose direct trades with nearby players (fish for gold) from the Action Wheel, and team up in a Crew for a name tag and a shared leaderboard.

Case Forge is now the Loot Smith, and on top of forging cases you can trade in multiple bobbers or rods of one rarity for a random one a tier higher.

The Tablet got redesigned into a home screen of app icons instead of tabs, with Crew, Workers and Quests as new dedicated apps.

Daily Login Rewards grew from a 7-day to a full 30-day cycle, with new Streak Cases at several milestone days that escalate all the way up to a Legendary Crown case on day 30.

Palm Totems arrived too: buy one from the Palm Vendor, place it from the Action Wheel, and everyone fishing nearby gets a bite rate, rare chance and fish value boost for a few minutes before it burns out.

Today alone brought the Rod Smith's new REROLL feature (gamble stats for a shot at an Enchanted rod, risk ending up with a Corrupted one), plus a big sound and feedback pass: lightning and thunder during storms, fishing sounds with slight pitch variation, a proper level-up banner, sound on toast notifications, "NEW SPECIES" / "NEW RECORD" on your catch display, a closer-spawning Fishing Hotspot with its own HUD timer, 5 new achievements, and a new cosmetic Warehouse item (Modern Shelving) at the Deco Dealer.

Alongside all that: a redesigned Action Wheel, reorderable and per-corner HUD widgets, Codex quality-of-life (recently caught strip, bigger icons), and a long list of multiplayer sync fixes (name tags, rod poses, levels, timers) and bug fixes throughout.

Come try it out and let me know what you think.
