* Subscribe to certain Threads to get up to date Notification when someone posting smth
* an upvote system to make Threads go up or down in the hierachy like reddit
* react message like in discord

Upvote / downvote system would be horrendous, it would encourage brigading and enforcing group think. Popularity of a thread should be determined by the amount of interaction within it, not a ranking system.

A reply button. Unfortunately you just have to scroll through the thread or just post and have to add an @ with the username you're responding to so they can see you've responded to them IF they view the thread again. 

Upvotes should not affect rank. Just have the Knockout-style reactions on messages.
