Heya, is editor support also currently in progress or is it just the client?

I'm really praying for sustained first class support of Linux (both game and editor), but I wonder what "It's our intention for s&box to be cross-platform" may extend to.

Totally understand one step at a time, and probably no one wants to commit to anything yet, though it would be really nice in the long term to see support for even more platforms. I wonder if macOS (modern Apple Sillicon Macs) would ever be on the cards? I know that may be technically far fetched though, and probably not much point with the game's current state of performance.

Native linux editor seems "ok" right now on our forks. Hopefully FP can gleam information and do a proper implementation but its working!

I’ve come to the realization that almost every aspect of this editor seems designed to waste time. There’s virtually no meaningful testing before changes are pushed, to the point where the player base is effectively being used to test the editor a paid product for them.

They not only broke the Photon fix for Steam, but the Linux repository currently doesn’t even work. At this point, using the editor feels less like development and more like debugging someone else’s unfinished work / "Create a working game engine, make no mistakes".
