Lakelands, a new world character with real sea, islands and sandy shores (takes the Islands card's spot)
The clock now runs: days are three times longer than nights, and the sky crossfades through dawn, day, dusk and starry night
A compass with N/E/S/W cardinals, with an on/off toggle in Options
Player dots on the tiles minimap, you in cyan, friends in green
New tiles rise up and then rain their trees and props from the sky
A card and minimap spinner show while a tile is reshaping
You now spawn with the grapple in hand, it is the best way to get around
Swimming washes paint off, and everyone sees it happen
New binds: V to talk, K to change view, and D-pad menu, view and hotbar on controller
🧼 Improved
Desert reworked: taller mesas, sparse pools, long dune views
Mountain range worlds now bring real mountains on every tile, no more flat squares
Terrain stays loaded across the whole world, so tile border crossings are hitch-free
The loading screen smoothed out while your world builds behind it
The keys legend docks above the tiles widget and H expands it upward
Tab menu spacing evened out for guests
🪛 Fixed
Shuffle, the dice, and typed seeds now actually re-roll a tile's terrain when you hit Regenerate. Before, they only moved the rivers and roads, the mountains stayed put
Every new world rolls a fresh seed, no more sticky seed between creates
Camera view distances restored, with no more jitter when descending stepped slopes
A paused host no longer lets other players' clocks drift ahead
The generator panel remembers hidden character dials when you regenerate
The seed box takes clean whole numbers now
🚯 Removed
The Export world button is pulled for now. It could never finish in a published build, so it is gone until it works for real. It is coming back properly
⚠️ Known Issues
Rebuild whole world only rebuilds your current tile on multi-tile worlds, so the button is hidden there for now
A re-rolled tile can come back flatter and lower than the sliders suggest
A re-rolled tile's biome can change abruptly right at the seam with its neighbours
