- Everyone carries a paint marker now: it lives in hotbar slot 1 in every mode with unlimited paint, so you can paint the world (and your friends) even in free roam
- Pick your paint color: 8 colors to choose from, in Options or with the quick palette on P while playing, and everyone in the session sees your color
- Paintball is live as a round mode too: pick it from the Play menu or the Tab game modes panel and tag your friends, most splats in the round wins
- Play it free-for-all (the default) or in teams (teams paint in team colors), with round length presets, and the round starts on its own once everyone lands
- The marker shipped with its full kit: a proper launch sound, tuned firing fx, and a first-round hint that shows you how to arm it (press 1)
- Press 8 or scroll past the last gadget to go hands free, the empty hands slot is part of the scroll rotation now
- Hosts get a PLAYER PAINT toggle in the Tab world panel: turn it off and nobody's body takes paint for that session (the world still does)
- Dasher has a new direction indicator: a clean minimal strip at the top of the screen with a single marker showing which way the next checkpoint is, replacing the old off-screen edge arrow
- Your dot on the minimap now follows you live while you are walking around (it used to freeze wherever the camera was last focused)
- First person view now shows just the item in your hand; the old placeholder arms never animated and are gone until real arms arrive
- Paint really sticks now: the world holds thousands of splats and bodies hold three times more before the oldest paint recycles
- Menu text is brighter across the world setup panel, unselected options are now easy to read
- The preset tiles in the Tab World panel are now evenly sized
- The V (change view) key now shows in the compact hotkey legend
- The game console is much quieter, developer debug output no longer prints while you play
- Save and continue now stops and tells you when the save failed instead of carrying on as if it worked
- Audio settings that fail to save now retry instead of being silently lost
- Joining a friend's world no longer traps you in an endless sky fall near the coast, you drop in once, land (or splash down) and play
- If a host force-quits the game, friends from that session may see timeouts for a few minutes before Steam clears the old session. Reconnecting works again shortly after
