A good basis for a Towerdefense game, It is quite a flat progression curve without much strategy or information about what does what when you play your first time, but i find it nice that you can win hard mode even if it is your first time playing

The game doesn't tell you what the different towers do. No description just the names laser and pencil which don't tell you anything really. And even during gameplay they seem pretty much the same. Playing a TD game with no idea what your towers do is bad.

The idea is really cool its like BTD in s&box. The issue is that there is no information on what the specific upgrades of the towers do. The upgrading menu can be hard to use at times if you have a lot of turrets near each other. While playing I choose the flat lands map and finished the Easy Mode + Medium mode by spamming turrets at the start area, I never saw the balls leave the pipe for a majority of the game as they insta died. I did not have to change any of the targeting on the turrets at all. I feel like in the future you should make multiple paths for the balls to enter from to counter turret spam and making more ball enemies that could only die from specific turrets, this would force players to make an actual strategy.

I really hope you continue developing this game, as I loved the turret visuals. But there is so much still to do: - The darker map ost too dark and you can get lost fast - The waves get too long at the end i.e. nearly 500s in Round 79. It would be cooler to have more enemies at the same time instead to increase difficulty - Obviously more towers are needed. Some of the enemies seemed to have special abilities, as well as some of the towers. But none of that is transparent. - It happened way to often, that i couldnt hit the UI buttons, as the UI of the turrets vanish to fast or the buttons just dont work all the time. - The levels have too much unused space. It would be great to limit it near the track and add parts like the restaurant in the dark map, where the enemies have to go around the central table

Needs more towers and infomation on the towers. The Pencil shooter seems for armor penetrating but what is the difference upgrading for pens vs nails?? Maybe find ways for the player to interact in the waves or use 3D space.

the best tower defense game in s&box. i like the gameplay but towers need more balance cause the first one seems useless. Also i'd like see some personal progress for players and more achievements. Tower info also would be nice

Let me start by saying that this game is a genuine stand out even right now. The care for quality is clearly there. Being so early in development at the moment there are some teething issues, but I'll start with the positive. The asset quality (towers, enemies, maps) are very nice and the alley map was very pleasant despite some placeholder models. The core gameplay is simple enough to figure out and pretty seamless once you understand it. The performance is honestly better than one would expect for a TD this early in development. As for its issues, its largely a lack of the core need to really get it off the ground. The biggest being a lack of information to the player. There are currently no descriptions for towers and their upgrades or for the enemy types. This isn't such an issue for the "fast" and "heavy" upgrades as much as it is for the "Pen..." and "Tool path" upgrades. In fact, there is an enemy type (glass) that can only be taken out by a max level pencil tower on the rightmost upgrade path (labeleed the 'tool path') in case you're struggling with them. Otherwise, I had a ton of fun and I WILL be coming back for more DESPITE the current issues. Also, please add the option to start the waves yourself!

Has some solid bones, despite the very small amount of content at the moment. Currently, the highest wave you can reach in hard mode is 39/80, due to the glass capsules only being seen by the lvl-3 fast tower - of which do 0-damage to said capsules. Having the "promising" rating is pretty on point for this one.
