Update 2: See Your Factory

Machines that tell you what's wrong, a second product line in your first run, building with the mouse from above, and a new look.

Your line now shows you where it hurts.

Every machine tells you how it's doing. A lamp on each machine: green when it keeps up, amber when items pass it without their step, grey when there's nothing for it. Look at a machine to see its rate and what it misses a minute. Every dock has a board with its items and money a minute, and which step its items most often lack. A jammed line says "Stopped" and the feeder it blocks flashes red.

Fix it where you see it. In build mode, click an empty machine slot to buy its machine (Z undoes it), and press L on a machine or feeder to level it up.

Barrels in your first run. Earn $3,500 in a run and barrels unlock, with Fill on offer as soon as you place their feeder. One Label station can serve both lines if you merge them: mixed orders ask for crates and barrels through one dock.

Build your way. Build mode works as before, in first person. Press T to look down on your plot from above instead, and build with the mouse: click to place, drag belts, middle-click to copy, right-drag to turn the view. Mergers, splitters and corners now drop straight into a running belt.

A new look. Every machine takes the colour of its job, with an icon plate on its front, and the first five get bodies of their own. The yard has late-afternoon light, worn asphalt and painted plot borders instead of fences between plots. Machine paint now colours a trim band, so the job colour stays.

Also: rush trains come sooner when you play alone, a run that started before this update keeps its old prestige target, and many small fixes.
