This really is a game just for me to learn how to implement features in s&box with the actual platform.
Things like achievements, statistics, etc. The point was never to make a fun game, or a game at all.

Being that this released before the 1.0 launch, I take it as a badge of honor that I was one of the few lucky pioneers, even if this "game" sucks really badly.

Launching this had a few problems - what I see in my editor is not what I would see on publish. Some people saw graphics, some people didn't. Everyone heard the clicking sound. Not everyone had achievements. Not everyone could access global stats. It was a mess! I blame Facepunch as I have never done anything wrong in my life and don't claim any mistakes.

An update or two dozen solved most of this-ish. Though, if you do see a real problem, or if there's a nasty review with a genuine critique other than stating the obvious that this isn't really a "game", I do want to respond to it and solve it.
As said above, I made this as a way to learn and as a joke. Many low-effort tycoon games made in a day, lots of the AI slop (not an anti AI guy, but incentives made it too easy). I felt if I put just slightly more effort into this than just a vibecode and done, I could at least avoid being one of "those guys".

It seems I have accomplished this. The bonus button exists temporarily for players who are the only one online. There are fun achievements to unlock. I went through the effort of providing all the branding creatives. There are multiplayer-dependent functions (sabotage/steal button, live leader boards). I think the graphics are "fun" but of course, this was made in a short moment, they're not good, they don't need to be.

Obviously, this is not a serious project, nor will it ever be, though I will certainly update it if I think of anything and have the time for it. I think a few more achievements, achievement values, maybe a chat, maybe I change up the font. Who knows?

Leave feedback. Or don't. Bye!
