HOLD THE KEEP

The horde is coming. The keep is yours. Good luck.

You play the builder, a medieval engineer with a sack of gold and a
frankly unreasonable amount of optimism. Build towers to defend your Keep! That's it.
Every enemy on screen wants to punch a hole in the Keep at the end of the path, and your job is to make them regret leaving home.

 The Pitch

  How long can you last?

That's the whole game. The waves never stop. The enemies just keep
getting nastier. There's a timer at the top of the screen and it is the
only number that matters. Towers shred, perks stack, luck runs out, run
ends. Then you stare at your time, mutter something rude, and start over
to push it ten seconds further.

Pick your flavor at the gate

  - Ranger. Pierce arrows. Cheap, mean, reliable.
  - Soldier. Long-range crossbow with short-range crits that triple damage
and stun. Place close to the action or pay for the privilege.
  - Frostwarden. Every shot leaves an ice patch. The path becomes the trap.
  - Pyromancer. The ground is now on fire. So are they. You're welcome.
  - Windrunner. Bouncing gale shots that chain harder the more Wind Towers
you stack. Placement IS the puzzle.
  - Three more classes to come!! Stay tuned :)

  The loop

  1. Wave incoming. Place a tower, and your builder jogs over to hammer it
  together.
  2. Enemies die. Gold drops. You level up.
  3. Pick one of three perks. Double Shot? Lucky Strike? An aura buff tower
that supercharges everything in range? Yes. All of them. Eventually.
  4. Earn more XP
  5. Boss shows up. Boss has a stupid mechanic (regen, split-on-death,
enrage, an aura that turns your DPS into wet napkins). Beat it anyway.
  6. Repeat until the horde gets through. Check your time. Curse. Hit Play
  Again.

Build it. Hold it. Die laughing. The keep doesn't keep itself.
