Our first Player Feedback! | Update 1

More updates are indeed inbound!

Due to this game being born from a game jam, we sadly ran out of time and didn't get the chance to implement core gameplay features that would make the game much more replayable and, honestly, more fun.

This first proper update addresses core gameplay bugs, adds the much needed tutorial, and gets everything ready for the next big update, which will focus on heavily improving the gameplay and delivering the features the game desperately needs.
We have been fortunate enough to have received great feedback from our players with our game. A key feedback point is better understanding the game. We shipped (with game jam deadlines in mind) without a tutorial level of any sort, hoping that players would pick it up.

Players did not pick it up as easily as we'd hoped. Is that your problem? Nope. 100% our problem. We lived and breathed this game for two weeks straight.
As much as I love the different sections in the greenhouse. They aren't easy to understand on the first go. That's why my job was to add a little cutscene outlining what every section does.

I also improved the stations to give the players a better understanding of what they need to do.
For now we've disabled the coins in this update to prep for the next big update.
Now you can easily suck the coins up with your sucker 2000
A small life improvement where now you can shoot the little shit further
We might include this in the next update, just depends.
Not being able to skip level intros was a bit shit, but now it's added.
Forget about touching grass, just suck it.
There are so many little things, as well as some big things, that were removed or added, but we wanted to highlight the key features we implemented that we thought would be cool to show off.

We hope you enjoyed this blog post, and we hope you'll give our game a try when the next big update arrives, which will bring some major changes to the gameplay!
