WRETCH is playing tonight
The Rotting Anchor is packed. Death metal is about to start. You are a private investigator with a missing-person case and a younger brother outside who will not set foot in the door. The trail ends here. The night WRETCH play, and the bassist who quit last month does not show.
His name was Matthew. Everybody called him MUD.
One more round?
The bartender will ask. You can drink, wander the lounge, take the stairs down into the pit, and just watch the set. You can flash a badge at the door and make the queue hate you. You can ignore the case entirely and still walk out with something.
Or you can keep asking questions until the night answers back.
The band is the clock. Setup, the song, pack-up, gone. What you do between those windows, and who you interrupt, is the job.
The Rotting Anchor
A two-floor dive: upstairs bar and lounge, stairs into the pit, a stage deep enough to lose an evening on. The gig poster on the wall outside is the menu. Walk up, press E, start the night. Walk away and you are already in it.
Friends
Host the case. Anyone who joins is a patron. Walk the venue, lean on the bar, go downstairs and listen. You are atmosphere in someone else's investigation. Fill the pit. Mosh. Do not steal the detective's night.
Twitch
